Our Standard Warranty: GE Family Electric is the industry leader in warranties. We offer a 24-month limited warranty for residential installations.

 

Customer Satisfaction: In addition to completing the project as planned and standing behind it, we will work extra hard to help make sure that the finished project is what you expected. 

 

Home of The Family Reunion 10-Year Warranty! This is the most remarkable warranty in the industry and only  GE Family Electric has it.   It applies to new installations and renovation projects by GE Family Electric for our residential customers.  There is no extra cost and every residential customer automatically receives this remarkable additional value for up to 10 years.  The Family Reunion limited warranty covers parts and labor for basic electric installations.   By design, it’s a very simple plan, and we’ll give you a full description when we meet for an estimate or to perform work in your home.  For our commercial customers, it’s up to 5 years.

 

Maintenance and Repair: A 30-day limited warranty is provided on maintenance and repair performed by GE Family Electric on equipment already in place.  It includes specifically the work performed but not other issues that may also exist or if they cause failure of the work performed by GEFEC. 

 

Warranties on parts cover basic electrical components.  Other special parts, equipment, systems are warranted according to their manufacturer’s policy. Warranties do not include normal wear, misuse or external causes.  The extended warranty does not apply to repair and service work on existing equipment.  Parts and equipment purchased by the customer are not covered by any GEFEC warranty, nor is the associated labor if an item is defective or unsatisfactory to the customer.  The extended warranty is a trial program and may be terminated without notice.
